9th anniv of Department of Organization Strategy and Leadership celebrated at DU

The 9th anniversary of the Department of Organization Strategy and Leadership, Dhaka University, was celebrated through various programs.
On the occasion, a seminar on Strategic Leadership was held at Nawab Nawab Ali Chowdhury Senate Bhaban on Sunday . Dhaka University Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Niaz Ahmed Khan inaugurated the program.
The event was presided over by the Departmental Chairman, Associate Professor Md. Rashedur Rahman and Emeritus Professor of the Department of English, Dhaka University, Dr. A. F. Sirajul Islam Chowdhury, spoke as the chief guest. The keynote address titled 'Empowering Youth and Moral Leadership in Challenging Environments' was presented by the President of the Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Kamran T. Rahman. The founder of the department, Professor Dr. Muhammad Abdul Moin, Director of the Institutional Quality Assurance Cell, Professor Dr. M. Rezaul Islam and Secretary of the Bangladesh Public Service Commission, Dr. M. Sanwar Jahan Bhuiyan were present as special guests at the event. The welcome address was delivered by the Departmental Professor Dr. Muhammad Shariat Ullah.
Dhaka University Vice Chancellor Prof Dr. Niaz Ahmed Khan, on the occasion of its founding anniversary, congratulated the teachers and students of the department and said that this department is playing an effective role in developing leadership qualities among students and making them skilled human resources. He expressed hope that the students of this department will lead in practicing morality among themselves and establishing a society with moral values.
