
Additional IGP in Mirzapur: National elections will be an election to erase stigma of police

Additional Inapector General of Police Abu Naser Mohammad Khaled said, the police force will have to be turned around by correcting where there are mistakes. The national parliament elections will be held in the next few months. We have taken the challenge of restoring the lost glory of the police force. The next election will be an election to erase the stigma of the police force.
We are determined to give the gift of a beautiful, fair and free election.
He said these things in his speech as the chief guest at the closing parade of the 55th TRC batch of basic training (Trainee Recruit Constable) at the parade ground of the Mahera Police Training Center in Mirzapur this Sunday morning.
The Additional IGP said, 'You are the first 4,100 proud new police constables of the interim government. From today, you are going to be proud members of the police force.
The oath taken by the police force must be implemented through actions. Good relations with the people must be maintained at work.' He advised the police members to listen carefully to the people.
He also said, 'Protection of the people is our responsibility and duty.
If we can build a rapport with the people, then people's trust in the police force will return. If the members of the police force extend a hand to the people, the people will embrace them.' He mentioned that the lost glory of the police force will be restored through good deeds.
The chief guest instructed the new police members to strive to earn the trust of the people by applying the knowledge gained in training, honesty, dedication, concentration in their work life and by properly performing the assigned duties with the utmost professionalism. He wished all the members of the police force all the best.
DIG of Mahera Police Training Center Mohammad Ashfaqul Alam, Additional DIG AHM Kamruzzaman BPM, Tangail Superintendent of Police Md. Mizanur Rahman, senior officers of various units of the police force, some police superintendents of Mahera Training Center, senior officers of various departments of the district were present.
The chief guest took the salute at the parade. At the end, the chief guest handed over the crest to the four trainees who achieved excellence. 815 trainee recruit constables of the 55th TRC batch successfully completed their training through active participation in the basic training.
