Annual sports, cultural competition, orize distribution of Samriddhi Program ends in Sandwip

The annual sports and cultural competition and prize distribution-2025 under the Samriddhi Program was held in Sandwip. The event was organized on Saturday at Kalapania High School grounds in Sandwip Upazila in collaboration with the Society for Development Initiatives (SDI) and the Rural Karma-Sahayak Foundation (PKSF).
At the event held at the Kalapania High School grounds, children and children from the Samriddhi Program's Education Support Center, teenagers from the Adolescent Program, young men and women from the Youth Program, and senior citizens from the Senior Program participated in various sports and cultural competitions.
After the game, the prize distribution ceremony was presided over by SDI Sandwip Region RM Md. Kamal Hossain. The event was moderated by Md. Sirajuddauly, Project Coordinator of the Samriddhi Project.
The award ceremony was attended by the acting president of Sandwip Press Club Dr. Mozammel Hossain, Master Abdur Rahman Ripon, former vice-president of Chittagong North District Chhatra Dal Md. Mamun Uddin.
Among others, SDI Baten Market Branch Manager Subrata Roy, Upazila Assistant Coordinator of Samriddhi Project Md. Monir Uddin, various officers and employees of the program, local dignitaries and teachers and students were present.
The speakers said that the Samriddhi Program has come forward along with the government to ensure safe healthcare for the development of the thinking of adolescents and to make their progress successful. We thank this program for organizing such an event. We think that such events should be organized more and more to improve the quality of life of adolescents. Adolescence is a very important chapter in human life. During this time, adolescents undergo physical and mental changes. But due to lack of proper knowledge, they need training on increasing life skills. Such initiatives are being taught to increase skills to prevent negative aspects of society such as child marriage, eve-teasing, dowry, gender discrimination, violence against women and health risks. Such initiatives are playing a major role in improving the quality of life. Therefore, if the entire country is to be seen as having good health, the concerned parties will have to be more active in this regard. It is to be noted that such initiatives have always been taken to provide entertainment to people of all ages under the 'Prosperity Program' and "Youth Fair and Cultural Programs" with teenagers in a festive atmosphere.
After the discussion meeting, prizes and certificates were distributed among the winners in the afternoon.
