Leaders and activists of the Upazila BNP, its branches and associate organizations held a protest march and rally in Muradnagar, Comilla, in protest against the various anarchy, sabotage and misdeeds of the Awami League, Jubo League and Chhatra League, whose activities have been banned.

The protest procession started from the Muradnagar Upazila BNP head office on Monday  afternoon. The procession circled various main roads of Muradnagar Sadar, including Islami Chattar, and ended at the Upazila BNP head office. Later, a short protest rally was held there.

Speakers at the rally said that no concessions will be made if attempts are made to create chaos in the country based on the words of Sheikh Hasina, who is in exile in India. Stating that they were pardoned after August 5, the speakers said that there is no problem as long as there is peace. However, attempts to create chaos or anarchy will be suppressed with a strong hand.

The rally, moderated by Upazila Volunteer Party Senior Joint Convener Faruk Ahmed Badsha, was addressed by Greater Muradnagar Upazila BNP Convener Mohiuddin Anjan, Member Secretary Molla Mujibul Haque, Joint Convener Kamal Uddin Bhuiyan, Upazila Jubo Dal Convener Sohel Samad and Upazila Chhatra Dal Convener Khairul Hasan.

Present at the event were Upazila BNP joint conveners Nazrul Islam and Gazi Abdul Bashir, members Sohel Ahmed Babu, Upazila Krishak Dal convener Nayeb Ali, Chhatra Dal senior joint convener Nazim Uddin, JASAS convener Abu Bakar, former North District BNP member Md. Mojib Member, BNP leaders Omar Faruk Sohag and Hedayet Hossain, Jubo Dal leader Masum Munshi and Swechchhasebak Dal leader Md. Billal Hossain, along with leaders and activists from various levels of BNP, its organs and associate organizations.
