The annual election of the Chandnish Press Club was held at a restaurant in Chandanish upazila of Chittagong.
A new committee was formed on Thursday noon in the meeting chaired by Chandanish Press Club President Abidur Rahman Babul.
At this time ,Dohazari Press Club President SM Nasir Uddin Bablu served as presiding in the elections.
In the present committee, Abidur Rahman Bablu (Daily Jugantar) and Nurul Alam( Daily Desh Rupantor) have been elected President and General Secretary respectively.They were elected unanimously. Besides, a strong working committee with 25 members was formed with the elderly and the new members.
Later, the newly elected president and the general secretary were greeted with flowers.
