Closing ceremony of training workshop on successful implementation of Typhoid Vaccination Campaign at KCC ends

The closing ceremony of a two-day training workshop for the successful implementation of the 'Typhoid Vaccination Campaign-2025' in Khulna metropolitan was held at the City Health Building on Sher-e-Bangla Road on Thursday afternoon.
 
 KCC Chief Executive Officer (Additional Duty) Sharif Asif Rahman spoke as the chief guest at the closing ceremony. The Health Department of KCC organized the training workshop.
 
Under the Expanded Program on Immunization (EPI) of  the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, all children aged between 9 months and 15 years will be given one dose of TCV vaccine from September 1 to prevent typhoid fever.
 
 The first phase of this training workshop started on  Wednesday, with the aim of successfully implementing the "Typhoid Vaccination Campaign".
 
 KCC Chief Revenue Officer Rahima Sultana Bushra and Chief Waste Management Officer and Executive Magistrate Kohinoor Jahan were present at the inaugural ceremony. Ward authorized officers participated in this training workshop.
 
KCC Chief Engineer Mashiuzzaman Khan, Chief Health Officer Dr. Sharif Shammiul Islam, Education and Cultural Officer SKM Tashaduzzaman, Administrative Officer Molla Maruf Rashid, Collector of Taxes Md. Abdul Majed Molla, Chief Tax Assessor Sheikh Hafizur Rahman and others spoke and were present at the closing ceremony.
 
 World Health Organization Surveillance and Immunization Officer Dr. Nazmus Ahsan Sajib and UNICEF National EPI Specialist Dr. Tapas Kumar Biswas were present as trainers.
