MJF, Dhaka presents commemorative plaque to Mirzaganj UNO

Mirzaganj UNO Md. Tariqul Islam has been presented with a commemorative plaque and a ‘Payrar Dak’ commemorative book published by the organization on behalf of the Mirzaganj Journalists Forum (MJF).
Mirzaganj UNO Md. Tariqul Islam has been presented with a commemorative plaque and a ‘Payrar Dak’ commemorative book published by the organization on behalf of the Mirzaganj Journalists Forum (MJF).
The commemorative plaque and the ‘Payrar Dak’ commemorative book published by the organization were presented on behalf of the organization by Md. Alamgir Hossain, Executive Editor of the Crimes Journalists’ Magazine and a member of the organization.
It is mentioned that the inauguration ceremony of the Mirzaganj Journalists Forum (MJF) in Dhaka and the unveiling ceremony of the ‘Payrar Dak’ commemorative book published by the organization were held at an elite Chinese restaurant in the capital on August 8 (Friday). At the ceremony, Mirzaganj UNO Md. Although Tariqul Islam was supposed to be present as a special guest, he was busy with state affairs and could not attend the event, so the honourable mention was presented at his own office.
The event began with the recitation of the Holy Quran and prayers for the forgiveness of the journalists injured and killed in the July uprising, presided over by the organization's president Md. Aminul Islam and moderated by General Secretary Md. Asadusjaman Shajib.
Former Home and Commerce Minister, Vice Chairman of the BNP Central Executive Committee, Air Vice Marshal (Retd) Alhaj Altaf Hossain Chowdhury was present as the chief guest at the event. High-ranking government and private officials, businessmen, politicians and leaders of various organizations from Mirzaganj in Dhaka were present as special guests.
Mirzaganj UNO thanked all the members of the organization, including the leaders of the Mirzaganj Journalists Forum (MJF) in Dhaka, for honouring him.
In addition, the biography of Hazrat Yaruddin Khalifa Saheb (R.) was included in the memorial 'Payrar Dak', whose author is Md. Shahidul Islam Faisal Mallick, General Secretary of the Board of Directors of the shrine. In continuation of that, a memorial was handed over to him.
