Discussion held in Faridpur on National Revolution and Solidarity Day

A discussion meeting was organized by the Faridpur District Administration at the conference room of the Deputy Commissioner's office on Saturday morning to observe National Revolution and Solidarity Day with due dignity.
Presided over by Faridpur Deputy Commissioner Md. Mazharul Islam, the meeting commenced at 10:00 am.
The program was attended by Zila Parishad Administrator Afzal Hossain Khan Palash, Superintendent of Police (SP) Shahriar Mohammad Miyaji, Zila Parishad Chief Executive Officer Md. Bakahid Hossain, Civil Surgeon Dr. Mahmudul Hasan, Faridpur Sadar Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Meshkatul Jannat Rabeya, District BNP Convener Syed Modarres Ali Isa, District Sechchasebak Dal Convener Syed Zulfikar Hossain Jewel, City BNP Convener A.F.M. Qaiyum Jongi, and Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Central Majlis-e-Shura Member Professor Abdut Tawwab, alongside local dignitaries.
Addressing the session, speakers highlighted that the historical legacy of National Revolution and Solidarity Day had been kept away from the younger generation for seventeen years. They underscored the imperative of presenting the nation's authentic history to youth, expressing satisfaction at observing the occasion within an official and institutional framework.
