National Revolution and Solidarity Day observed in Gopalganj

National Revolution and Solidarity Day was celebrated with due dignity in Gopalganj. On this occasion, a discussion meeting was held at the initiative of the district administration.
The discussion meeting was held at the Upazila Hallroom on Saturday at 11 am, organized by the district administration.
The meeting was presided over by Deputy Commissioner Md. Arif Uz-Zaman. Present at the meeting were Police Superintendent Md. Habibullah, District Council Administrator and District BNP Convener Sharif Rafiq-Uzzaman, Additional Deputy Commissioner Tarek Sultan, Sadar Upazila Nirbahi Officer Kaushik Ahmed, Superintendent of the 250-bed General Hospital Dr. Jeebitesh Biswas, officials from various levels of the local administration, freedom fighters, journalists, prominent personalities and people from different classes and professions.
The speakers at the discussion meeting highlighted the historical context of November 7, the course of events, and the importance of this day in national life. They emphasized the importance of presenting the significance of the day and historical events to the new generation.
At the end of the discussion meeting, special prayers and munajat were held for the peace, prosperity, and welfare of the country and the nation.
