Dr. Abdul Gafur of Patnitala publishes research on international journal, marking his signature of glory

Dr. Md. Abdul Gafur, a talented son of Patnitala Upazila of Naogaon, has set a shining example of how far a deep passion for study, knowledge, and research can take a person.
Through three months of tireless work, data collection, analysis, and research, he has achieved international recognition for completing important research on the indigenous medicinal plant "Mallotus Philippensis."
Sampriti's research paper "Phytochemical Screening of methanolic Extracts of Indigenous Medicinal Plant Mallotus Philippensis" has been published in the internationally renowned World Journal of Pharmaceutical Research (WJPR). She received a prestigious Publication Certificate upon completion of this research.
Currently, Dr. Md. Abdul Gafur is serving as the Principal of “TMSS Firoza Begum Ayurvedic and Unani Medical College” Sujabad Dahopara Bogra (adjacent to Rangpur Bypass Road) Medical College. Located in the peaceful environment of Bogra city, adjacent to Rangpur Bypass Road, this Ayurvedic medical and college educational institution is serving patients with dedication along with teaching. He holds a BAMS (Bachelor of Ayurvedic medicine and surgery) degree and has received higher education in nutritional science. He has also enriched himself by participating in various training courses on medical and health issues. His skills, sincerity and humane behavior towards patients as a doctor have already garnered wide appreciation. Every day, numerous patients take his advice and get well and return to normal life.
He regularly sees patients in his chamber on the west side of the central mosque at the bus stand of Najipur Municipality, Patnitala Upazila, Naogaon District. Due to his skill, sincerity and humane behavior, he has gained the trust of the general public in a short time. Patients come from far and wide every day for advice and medical services.
According to fellow students, Dr. Abdul Gafur spent most of his life in studies, research and knowledge and exploration. In his personal life, he is a very humble, honest and hardworking person. His international achievements are a matter of pride not only for "TMSS Firoza Begum Ayurvedic Unani Medical and College", but also for Bogra, Naogaon or Patnitala Upazila and the whole of Bangladesh.
Those involved in the health and research arena believe that Dr. Md. Abdul Gafur's success will inspire future researchers and play an important role in further advancing Ayurvedic and medicinal plant research in the country and at the international level.
