The alliance of left-leaning student organisations on Tuesday announced its full panel “Protirodh Porshod” for contesting the Dhaka University Central Students’ Union (DUCSU) election.

Jabir Ahmed Jubel, general secretary of Biplobi Chhatra Moitri, announced the panel at Madhur Canteen.

The VP candidate from the alliance is Sheikh Tasnim Afroz Emi, former VP of Shamsunnahar Hall Students’ Union in 2019 , General Secretary (GS) candidate is Meghmallar Bosu, president of Dhaka University unit of Chhatra Union and Assistant General Secretary (AGS) candidate is Jabir Ahmed Jubel.

Mozammel Haque, president of Dhaka University unit of Samajtantrik Chhatra Front, will contest for the post of Liberation War and Democratic Movements Affairs Secretary.

Nuzia Hasin, president of DU unit of Biplobi Chhatra Moitri will contest for the post of Common Room, Reading Room, and Cafeteria Secretary while  Akash Ali for Law and Human Rights Affairs Secretary post.

Other nominations included for Liton Tripura for Career Development Secretary post, Ninad Khan for Transport Secretary post; Naim Uddin for International Affairs Secretary post  and Faria Matin for Literature and Cultural Secretary post.

Besides, Maliha Tabassum was nominated for Sports Secretary, for Social Service Secretary Abu Muzahid Akash,  for Health and Environment Affairs Secretary Sheikh Tasnuva Sristi,  for Science and Technology Secretary Fatiha Ishraq and for Research and Publications Secretary Almagir Hossain.

Besides, Md. Tafsirullah, Rajekuzzaman Juel, Mohammad Mostakim, Mishkatul Mashiayat, Atika Anjum Orthi, Prithing Marma, Israt Jahan Imu, Aniya Fahmin, Rahnuma Ahmed Niret, Sajid Ul Islam, and Hema Chakma were nominated as members.
