Emadul elected President in RCCI eclection

Emdadul Hossain, proprietor of M/s Janata Trading, has been elected president in the election of the 25-member board of directors of Rangpur Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI) for the biennial term of 2025-27.
In addition, M/s M, K Traders proprietor Manzoor Ahmed has been elected as senior vice president, and M/s Modern Jewelers proprietor Mohammad Enamul Haque and M/s Beauty Hardware and Tools proprietor Mohammad Zulfiqar Aziz Khan have been elected as vice presidents.
On July 14, at the RCCI Auditorium of Rangpur Chamber, the Chairman of the Election Management Board and National Bank Limited Rangpur Branch Senior Assistant Vice President and Branch Manager Mohammad Sarwar Morshed announced the results. In the election of the RCCI Board of Directors, the Election Management Board declared them elected unopposed as there were no competing candidates for the posts of President, Senior Vice President and Vice President.
Among others present at the time were RCCI Election Board member and Senior Assistant Vice President and Branch Manager of Exim Bank Rangpur Branch Mohammad Ali Jinnah, Assistant Vice President and Branch Manager of Shahjalal Islami Bank Rangpur Branch Mohammad Karimullah, Chairman of RCCI Election Appeal Board and former DGM of Janata Bank, Rangpur Area Office Mohammad Mizanur Rahman Sarkar, Appeal Board member and former DGM of Janata Bank Divisional Office Mohammad Habibur Rahman and former DGM of Janata Bank Divisional Office Hasneen Akhtar Khanam.
The newly elected 25-member board of directors of the Rangpur Chamber are Partha Bose, Mohammad Obaidur Rahman Ratan, Khandaker Mahmud Elahi (Biplob), Kamal Hossain, Mohammad Mamunur Rashid, Mohammad Touhid Hossain, Mohammad Saiful Alam, Mohammad Ashraful Alam, Mohammad Abdul Halim, Mohammad Azizul Haque, Mohammad Shariful Islam, Mohammad Harun-or-Rashid, Mohammad Taifur Rahman, Mohammad Shafiqul Islam Mithu from the General Group, Pranoy Banik, Khemchand Somani (Robi), Mohammad Shafiqul Islam Mona, Mohammad Rashidus Sultan Bablu, Mohammad Abdullahel Kafi (Dudu) and Golam Ahmed Abdul Mukit from the Associate Group, and Mohammad Wasim Bari Raj, General Secretary of Rangpur District Motor Owners Association, from the Trade Group.
Earlier, on July 12, in the 2025-2027 biennial election of the Rangpur Chamber of Commerce and Industry, 16 candidates for the general category and 8 candidates for the associate category were equally elected as the number of candidates for the directorship of both categories was declared unopposed.
