Environment, educational materials needed for quality education : British Council Director

British Council Director (Business Development) Tahni Yasmin has emphasized the importance of a beautiful, clean and conducive learning environment, modern classrooms, and adequate educational materials to achieve good results in studies.
She made these remarks while visiting Yes Academy located in Zindabazar, Sylhet city on Monday.
She said, "The most important thing for learning is the environment. A student can achieve good results if they have a nice and tidy classroom and adequate materials."
Praising two students from Yes Academy who recently took the IELTS exam and achieved a band 7 score, she said, "Only the students of Yes Academy will achieve good results. Because this is the first time I have seen the quality of labs, classrooms, and learning environment here in Bangladesh. Even in Dhaka, I have rarely seen such an environment."
During the visit, Tahni Yasmin toured YES Academy's modern classrooms, labs, conference rooms, seminar rooms and administrative offices. Later, she participated in a meeting with officials from the British Council and YES Academy.
At the end of the ceremony, representatives of the British Council and the Yes Academy authorities presented mementos to two students who completed the IELTS course from Yes Academy and achieved a 7 band score.
Also present at the event were British Council Sylhet Office Account Manager Muhibur Rahman, Account Support Officer Tanjim Sultana Tanni, and Yes Academy authorities.
