Expelled Jamaat workers join AB Party

A rally, discussion meeting and cake cutting ceremony were held on Saturday noon to mark the 5th founding anniversary of Amar Bangladesh Party  (AB Party) and later, meet the press was held at Mita Diagnostic Center in Kurigram Sadar to mark the 5th founding anniversary of the party. 
 
 
Barrister Zubair Ahmed Bhuiyan, Member of the National Executive Committee and central joint general secretary, was present as the chief guest. Barrister Sunny Abdul Haque, member of the national executive committee and joint general secretary, Abu Bakkar Siddique, co-organizing secretary of Rangpur division, Liaquat Ali, convener of the Nilphamari district branch and general public and leaders from various levels of Kurigram district were present as special guests.At the time, the chief guest said that we want national elections after minimum reforms and also want to work for the development of neglected Kurigram.Journalists from various electronic and print media were present at the event.A press conference was held at the end of the AB Party's founding anniversary, during which 5 people from different political parties joined the AB Party.Among them, Zahidul Islam and Raju Ahmed were previously associated with Jamaat politics.When talked to Abdul Matin, District Ameer of Kurigram Jamaat-e-Islami, over  the phone, he said that they  expelled them from Jamaat at the district working committee meeting on Thursday  for their immoral and anti-discipline activities.
