The youth wing of the National Citizens Party (NCP), Jatiyo Juboshokti (National Youth Power), has officially launched. In the newly announced committee, four young leaders from Narayanganj have been given significant responsibilities. Among them, Tuhin Mahmud from Sonargaon has been appointed as the Senior Joint Convener, and Yasin Arafat from Rupganj has been named Senior Organizer. Additionally, student leader Nirab Raihan and Saiful Islam Roman from Rupganj have been given positions as Organizers.
Reacting to this development, student leader Nirab Raihan told the media:
“First of all, we express our gratitude to Allah—Alhamdulillah. This is my first time being affiliated with any political organization, so it’s both a great challenge and a matter of pride for me. Through the July Revolution, we envisioned a new Bangladesh—free from discrimination and exploitation. We, the youth, can play a vital role in turning that vision into reality.”
He added, “Among the four appointed from Narayanganj, there is already a good understanding among us. We will work together and, InshaAllah, move forward to build a new Bangladesh with the youth of Narayanganj.”
It is mentioned that on May 16, the organization was officially inaugurated with a grand event held on Shaheed Abrar Fahad Avenue in Gulistan, Dhaka. At the event, a 134-member central convening committee was announced, with Advocate Md. Tarikul Islam as Convener and Dr. Zahedul Islam as Member Secretary.
