Golam Rabbani joins NCP in Naogaon

Prominent businessman and politician of Naogaon Golam Rabbani has announced to join the NCP from the politics of the Gano Adikar Parishad.
He made the announcement at a local restaurant in Naogaon on Friday.
At the press conference, Golam Rabbani said, "I have been associated with the politics of the Gano Adikar Parishad since 2021. This is my first political platform. But due to the party's internal undemocratic behavior, pressure and negative politics, I officially withdraw from the Gano Adikar Parishad.
He claimed that since I was a businessman, I was forced to attend the fascist Awami League event and donate at various times. However I was never a member of the Awami League or in the responsible position
Rabbani said that in August 2024, NCP central leader Khandaker Tariqul Islam was introduced to the district organizer Dewan Mahbub Al Hasan Sohag Bhai. Attracted to his leadership and new political thoughts with the youth, I decided to join the NCP with Sujan Mandal and Ziaur Rahman.
He also said that in December 2024, we announced to join the NCP together. Shortly afterwards, I was requested to call from the center of the People's Rights Council and to stay in the party and I was convened in a backdated committee.
If I wanted to resign from the mass rights, I was fake. This expulsion is merely propaganda.
At the press conference, he reiterated his confidence in the NCP and said, "If I am given the opportunity, I want to work with talent and labor to implement the new political settlement from the NCP."
