Students from various educational institutions participated in the program in front of the main gate of the board at Kandirpar Pubali square in the city at 11 am on Tuesday.

The students participating in the program raised three demands. Their demands are that the HSC examination should be postponed until the disaster is completely over, arrangements should be made for re-examination for those who could not take part in the examination on July 13 due to adverse weather conditions, and that Education Minister Ehsanul Haque Milon should publicly apologize within the next 24 hours.
Later, when the students marched towards the Cumilla Education Board with a protest procession, Fatematuz Zohra, Upazila Nirbahi Officer of Adarsh Sadar, and Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Kotwali Model Police Station, Touhidul Anwar spoke to them. Then the students took a position outside the main gate of the education board and raised various slogans.

HSC pass student Safin Ahmed, who participated in the sit-in program, said, "Yesterday, many students crossed waist-deep water to the examination center. No one saw their suffering. I have come here to express solidarity with the students' reasonable demands."

HSC examinee Shakil Ahmed of Cumilla Victoria Government College said, "Many did not do well in yesterday's exam due to adverse weather conditions. These results play an important role in university and medical admissions.
