
Huge victory rally in Sandwip on 1st anniversary of Mass Uprising Day

A huge victory rally was held in Sandwip, Dwip Upazila of Chittagong on the occasion of the 1st anniversary of the fall of the dictatorship Sheikh Hasina.
The rally was organized by Mizanur Rahman Bhuiyan Milton, a member of the National Executive Committee of BNP at 11 am on Wednesday.
The rally was spontaneously participated by grassroots leaders and activists of the upazila and municipal BNP, its organs and associate organizations, and the general public.
The rally circled the important roads of the city and created public gatherings at various places. The leaders and activists participated with party flags, banners and festoons and made the whole city resound with various slogans against the dictatorship and demanding the establishment of democracy.
The speakers said, “This day of the fall of the dictatorship is a historical milestone on the path to re-establishing democracy. The people are the owners of the country, and the movement to re-establish that ownership will continue.”
At the end of the event, a minute of silence was observed in memory of the martyrs and the leaders pledged to participate more unitedly in the movement in the future.
