
Indian drone camera recovered at Hili border

Police recovered a drone camera from the Hili border area of Dinajpur. It is believed that the drone camera is Indian.
The GPS-equipped drone camera was recovered from a paddy field 400 yards inside Bangladesh in the Ghasuria border area of the upazila on Wednesday evening. An indigenous farmer named Prafulla Topp was working in the paddy field.
Dinajpur District Superintendent of Police Marufat Hussain confirmed the matter.
It is learnt that on Wednesday evening, some farmers were working in a paddy field near the Ghasuria border. At that time, they were there to watch a drone camera. Later, a farmer named Prafulla Topp took the drone to his house. When the matter became known in the area, he informed the police. Later, a police team recovered it and brought it to the police station.
Hakimpur Police Station Inspector (Investigation) Jahangir Alam said that based on information given by the locals, the drone was recovered from a farmer's house near the border and taken to the police station. However, the farmer said that the drone was found in the field.
District Superintendent of Police Marufat Hussain said that it is initially believed that the drone fell into Bangladesh while flying from across the border. It is initially believed to be an Indian drone camera.
