Md. Ismail Zabiullah, Adviser to the Prime Minister on Public Administration and member of the BNP National Standing Committee, called upon member political parties to unite in executing the decisions and resolutions adopted at the 13th General Assembly of the International Conference of Asian Political Parties (ICAPP).

Presiding over the fifth and final plenary session of the conference at The Shilla Seoul hotel on Friday afternoon, Zabiullah emphasized that concerted efforts among member parties will enable the ICAPP to play a more effective role in fostering peace, democracy, stability, and prosperity across Asia.

In his presidential address, Zabiullah stated that his election as ICAPP Vice-Chairperson and his role in presiding over the closing plenary session represented not merely a personal achievement, but a reflection of Asia's mutual trust, friendship, and cooperation with Bangladesh and the BNP. He commended participating delegates for their constructive deliberations and lauded the spirit of consensus demonstrated in finalizing the "Seoul Declaration".

The newly adopted Seoul Declaration reaffirmed the responsibility of Asian political parties in rebuilding trust within a changing global landscape through respect for international law, responsible national leadership, inclusive institutions, and sustained dialogue across geopolitical divides. The declaration further underscored ICAPP's role as an inclusive platform aimed at building a peaceful, stable, sustainable, and human-centric future.

The delegation conveyed greetings on behalf of BNP Chairman and Prime Minister Tarique Rahman and extended formal invitations for the political leaders to visit Bangladesh.

The final plenary session featured speeches from 19 political delegates representing various Asian nations, including Asif Mahmud Shojib Bhuyain, Senior Joint Member Secretary of NCP.
