Journalists hold meeting with new DC in Rangpur

A meeting of journalists working in Rangpur district was held on Thursday morning, with Israt Jahan, who has just joined as the Deputy Commissioner and District Magistrate of Rangpur.
The meeting, organized by the district administration, was held at the conference room of the Deputy Commissioner, chaired by the newly-appointed Deputy Commissioner Israt Jahan, and was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Ramiz Alam, Additional Deputy Commissioner (Education & ICT) Shariful Alam, among others.
The meeting discussed in detail the overall development of Rangpur, public welfare-oriented measures, and the importance of objective journalism. The new Deputy Commissioner accepted the well-considered opinions of journalists in the overall progress of Rangpur and sought their continuous cooperation. It was hoped that the administration and the media would work shoulder to shoulder to make Rangpur a prosperous and model district. Journalists from all print and electronic media working in Rangpur were present at the time.
