Marking International Youth Day 2025 with the theme “We want the effective reflection of the youth’s hopes and aspirations in building a new Bangladesh”, a human chain program was held in Lakshmipur.
The event took place on Tuesday afternoon in front of Muktijoddha Market in the district town, organized by the Shachetan Nagorik Committee (SANAK).
Speakers at the program included SANAK President Professor Rafiqul Ahsan, Vice-President Humayun Kabir, Shilpa Talukdar, former president Z.M. Faruqi, members Abul Mobarak Bhuiyan, Rajib Hossain Raju, Sudhir Chandra Ghosh, Rashedul Hasan (Cluster Coordinator, Chattogram Division), and Lakshmipur Area Coordinator Abdur Rob, among others.
Speakers emphasized that youth voices must be prioritized to shape a new Bangladesh. They called upon the younger generation to lead the nation toward progress and prosperity. At the same time, they urged everyone to remain vigilant so that drugs and extremism cannot divert young people from their rightful path.
