Mobile court imposes Tk 35,000 fine in 3 cases in Boalkhali

A mobile court imposed Tk 35,000 fine in 3 cases in Boalkhali. A clinic named Max Dental Care was sealed for providing dental treatment by a doctor outside the BMDC number.
The drive was conducted by Upazila Assistant Commissioner (Land) and Executive Magistrate Kaniz Fatema at around 11 am on Tuesday.
In the areas adjacent to the Upazila Parishad, two people were fined 25,000 taka under Section 53 of the Consumer Rights Protection Act 2009, and one person from Max Dental Care was fined 10,000 taka and sealed under Section 29 of the Medical and Dental Council Act 2010.
Boalkhali Upazila Health and Family Planning Officer Dr. Jafrin Jahed Jiti, and a smart police force of Boalkhali Police Station and concerned persons were present at the time.
