
MoU signed between BRUR and German- based GIZ Project

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed between Begum Rokeya University Rangpur and the German-based International Development Agency (GIZ) project Digital Skills to Succeed (DS2S) with the aim of increasing the employability and employability of students. This MoU was signed at the Rajendrapur BRAC CDM Center in Gazipur on Tuesday morning.Begum Rokeya University Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Md. Shawkat Ali and GIZ Project Head Dr. Christian Bachmann signed the MoU on behalf of their respective institutions.Through this MoU, a microcredential course curriculum will be developed for Begum Rokeya University students. These courses will mainly help students develop various digital skills including AI, data driven decision making, digital entrepreneurship. These courses will be of short duration and will help students who are not from the Faculty of Technology to develop their understanding of technology and acquire skills through hands-on experience.The event was attended by Professor Dr. Md. Mizanur Rahman, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Technology of Begum Rokeya University, Sabrina Garcia, Project Director of GIZ, Rumana Akhtar, Education and Youth Advisor of the Digital Skills to Succeed Project and other concerned persons.
