Sports Desk

Bangladesh Cricket Board President Nazmul Hassan Papon is all set to depart for Oman on Wednesday (October 13), a BCB official confirmed on Tuesday.

Nazmul will be accompanied by his wife along with other officials and directors of the board to inspire the national cricket team ahead of the Tigers’ upcoming T20 World Cup qualifiers.

Bangladesh will take on Sri Lanka and Ireland in their official practice games respectively on October 12 and 14 at ADC Oval 2 in Abu Dhabi.
Following two practice games in Abu Dhabi, the Tigers will head back to Oman to begin their ICC T20 World Cup qualifying stage. They will kick off their World Cup campaign against Scotland in Oman on October 17.

Earlier Tigers had a preparation camp in Oman on Sunday. They registered a 60-run win against Oman A in the warm up match on last Friday.
