Two known drug dealers were arrested with cannabis during a joint forces operation in the Aukpara area of Ashulia. Authorities recovered almost 2.3 kilograms of cannabis and Tk 30,780 in cash earned from drug sales.
The arrests took place on Tuesday night during a routine checkpost operation based on a tip-off. The detainees have been identified as Hossain Bhandari (50) and Sheikh Liton (40). The information was confirmed by Ashulia Police Station OC Md. Abdul Hannan.
Legal proceedings have been initiated against the arrested individuals, and they have been sent to court.
