
One arrested with 30,000 yaba pills, e-Bike in Teknaf

The Bangladesh Coast Guard on Monday arrested one drug smuggler along with 30,000 Yaba pills and an e-bike, worth about 15 million taka in Teknaf, Cox's Bazar
Coast Guard Media Officer Lieutenant Commander Syam-ul-Hoque confirmed the information in a press release on Monday afternoon.
According to the press release, acting on secret information, the Coast Guard Station Teknaf conducted a special operation on Monday at 1:00 pm in the Marine Drive area adjacent to Maheshkhalia Para under Teknaf Police Station, Cox’s Bazar. During the operation, a suspicious e-bike was searched, and one drug trafficker was apprehended along with 30,000 Yaba pills, valued at about 15 million Taka.
The seized Yaba pills, e-bike, and the arrested suspect are currently undergoing legal processing.
The Coast Guard will continue such operations in the future to prevent drug trafficking.
