PM Tareque Rahman holds bilateral talks with Pakistani counterpart Shehbaz Sharif in NY

Prime Minister Tareque Rahman held a bilateral meeting with Pakistani Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif on the sidelines of the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) in New York on Thursday.
The meeting took place on the 34th floor of the Secretariat Building at the UN Headquarters.
During the meeting, the two leaders discussed various aspects of bilateral relations between Bangladesh and Pakistan. They engaged in constructive exchanges on issues of mutual interest, the regional and international situation, and potential areas of cooperation for the well-being of the people of both nations.
Both prime ministers emphasized strengthening bilateral ties based on mutual respect, understanding, and cooperation.
They also underscored the importance of maintaining regular communication and dialogue on matters of common interest moving forward.
