Moheshkhali police have conducted an operation and arrested a terrorist named Bahadur with firearms on Sunday.
According to police sources, at 4:30 AM on Sunday, Moheshkhali police conducted a special operation in front of the office of listed terrorist Anwar Member in Ward No. 2, Kalagazir Para Bazaar, in the Hwanak Union of Moheshkhali Upazila, under Cox's Bazar district, and arrested Jahangir Alam Bahadur (48). The arrested Jahangir Alam Bahadur (48) is the son of the late Nurul Amin of Hwanak Hariarchhara.
After the arrest of the terrorist Bahadur, in the presence of witnesses, it was found that the blue plastic bag he was holding contained a locally made single-barrel firearm wrapped in cloth along with various other materials.
OC Md. Manzurul Haque, confirmed the matter in a press conference at Moheshkhali police station.
