The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Rajshahi, issued a official clarification on Wednesday  addressing media reports surrounding the re-scrutiny process of the SSC Examination 2026 results.

The board stated that the re-evaluation of examination scripts following student applications was carried out in full compliance with established regulations and standard operational procedures. The clarification follows news coverage regarding the board's post-result administrative activities.

In its statement, the education board emphasized that as an essential public service institution bound by strict academic timelines and high application volumes, conducting examination-related tasks, script re-evaluations, and administrative duties beyond standard office hours—including during the night—is a routine operational practice. Authorities noted that after-hours processing is frequently necessary to safeguard the academic year and ensure time-bound result processing.

Reiterating its commitment to student welfare, transparency, and administrative accountability, the board stressed that accurate evaluation remains its primary responsibility to prevent any candidate from suffering due to scoring errors.

The Rajshahi Board expressed respect for objective journalism and requested print and electronic media professionals to cooperate by verifying facts prior to publication. 

Board authorities urged all stakeholders to refrain from misinterpreting routine nocturnal administrative operations or circulating unverified information that could create confusion among students, parents, and the public.
