The foundation stone of Model Mosque and Islamic Cultural Center has been laid at a cost of Tk 12.5 million at Hathazari on Friday.
The construction work of the mosque was inaugurated in the area of Kariardighi Par area by Religious Affairs Adviser AFM Khalid Hossain. These three -storeyed models will have the Imam training system, 1200 Muslims praying together, library and Islamic book sales center.
Director of the Model Mosque and Islamic Cultural Center (2nd Amendment) Project Additional Chief Engineer of Public Works Department Md Ferdous-uz-Zaman was present.
Hathazari UNO ABM Mashiuzzaman, Upazila Ameer of Bangladesh Jamaat -e -Islami Engineer Muhtamim Allama Mufti Khalil Ahmed Qasimi of Hathazari Madrasah, Naeb-e Ameer Muhtamim (Assistant Director) Mawabi Jahmim (Assistant Director). Ohidul Alam, Mohammad Helal, Ashraf Uddin Rubel and various leaders of the municipality BNP were present.
