Two AL leaders joined Islamic Movement in Amtali

Gulishakhali Union Awami League President UP Chairman Advocate HM Monirul Islam Moni has joined Bangladesh Islamic Movement on Friday night.
He joined and took oath from Muhammad Rezaul Karim. Former Awami League president and chairman of the same union, Advocate Nurul Islam Mia joined the same party months ago. The pictures of their joining are spread through social media, creating humor among people.
According to reports, Adv HM Monirul Islam Moni was elected chairman of the boat symbol with the nomination of Awami League in the Gulishakhali Union Parishad elections in Amtali upazila in 2022. That year, he became the Awami League president of the union. Upazila Awami League activists fell into disrepair when Sheikh Hasina collapsed on August 5. Most of the leaders of the upazila are absconding. In February this year, former chairman of the union and former Awami League president Advocate Nurul Islam Awami League left the Awami League and joined the Islamic Movement Bangladesh team. Monirul Islam Moni, the president and chairman of the same union Awami League, joined the same party.
Some of the unwillingness to be named said that the Islamic Movement of the two Awami League leaders is quite curious to join the Bangladesh team. Although the two Awami League teams, they had a snake neol. Again they joined the same team. This created humor.
Ghazi Md. Bayazid, General Secretary of the Islamic Movement Bangladesh Amtali Upazila branch said, Gulishakhali Union Parishad has joined the Islamic Movement by taking oath from Ameer. Earlier, former chairman Adv Nurul Islam joined the same way.
Gulishakhali Union Parishad Chairman Union Awami League President Adv HM Monirul Islam Moni and former President Adv Nurul Islam Mia were not available for comments as their their phones were off.
Amtali Upazila Awami League Vice-president Md. Motahar Uddin Mridha said they had joined the Islamic Movement in Bangladesh without informing anyone of the party.
