Two arrested with Yaba, Marijuana in Shyamnagar

In a special anti-drug operation conducted by Shyamnagar Police Station in Satkhira, two individuals were arrested with 4 pieces of yaba tablets and 50 grams of marijuana.
According to sources at Shyamnagar Police Station, under the leadership of OC Humayun Karib Molla, on the night of Wednesday . SI Mohammad Biplob Hossain along with his team conducted an anti-drug raid near Saeed’s tea shop on Nawabeki WAPDA Road in Atulia Union. During the operation, they seized 4 pieces of yaba tablets and 50 grams of marijuana from Md. Roni (21), son of Md. Kamrul Islam of Paschimbiralokshmi village, and Shanto Mondal (20), son of the late Babu Mondal, residing near Nakipur Zamidar Bari in the same Upazila.
A case has been filed under Shyamnagar Police Station. OC stated that a case was filed under the Narcotics Act and the arrested individuals have been handed over to the competent court.
