A young man named Saurav De (19) was killed by electrocution in Bandarban on Friday night in the Roangchhari bus station area. The deceased, Saurav De, was the son of Ratan De, a resident of Balaghata.
According to police and locals, around 11 p.m. on Friday, Saurav De was working on electrical repairs at the Anukul Thakur Ashram in the Roangchhari bus station area. During the work, he was suddenly electrocuted and severely injured. Locals quickly rescued him and rushed him to Bandarban Sadar Hospital, where the on-duty doctor declared him dead. It is known that Saurav De, alongside his studies, worked as an electrician’s assistant.
