Ziaur Rahman's 44th martyrdom anniversary observed in Bagerhat

The 44th martyrdom anniversary of martyred President and BNP founder Ziaur Rahman was celebrated in Bagerhat with various events.
On the occasion of the day, on Friday morning, Bagerhat District BNP organized a program to hoist the party and national flags at the party office and wear black badges. In the afternoon, a discussion meeting and prayer mahfil were held at the city's Independence Park.
Agriculturist Shamimur Rahman Shamim, Research Affairs Secretary of the BNP National Executive Committee, was the chief guest at the discussion meeting.
In the discussion held under the chairmanship of District BNP Convener Engineer ATM Akram Hossain Talim and moderated by Member Secretary Muzaffar Rahman Alam, BNP National Executive Committee member Ad: Sheikh Wahiduzzaman Dipu, former District BNP President and Coordinator MA Salam discussed the various activities of Shaheed President Ziaur Rahman's state management and colorful politics as special guests. Also discussed among others were District BNP Joint Convener Sheikh Samsher Ali Mohan, District BNP Convener Committee member Khan Monirul Islam. Syed Nasir Ahmed Malek. The newly elected president of the municipal BNP, Sheikh Shahed Ali Robi, former president of the district Jubo Dal, Fakir Tariqul Islam,
Former General Secretary Md. Sujan Molla,and others.
After the discussion meeting, prayer meeting and special munajat for the forgiveness of the soul of martyred President Ziaur Rahman. Discussion meetings, Milad mahfils and tabarak were also distributed in the upazilas.
