16 arrested in special operation in Rajarhat city

In a special operation conducted in Rajshahi Metropolis, a total of 16 individuals have been arrested by the Rajshahi Metropolitan Police (RMP) and Detective Branch (DB) police, including one person linked to specific charges.
Over the past 24 hours, special operations were carried out across various locations in the metropolis, resulting in the arrest of one individual on charges related to attacks on the anti-discrimination student movement, causing explosions, terrorist activities, and other crimes. Additionally, 15 others were arrested in RMP operations, including 7 with outstanding warrants and 8 for other offenses.
The individual arrested in the special operation is Awami League activist Md. Mizanur Rahman (35), son of Md. Montu Rahman, from Aliganj Adarshagram under Rajpara Thana in Rajshahi Metropolis.
Legal action has been taken against the arrested individuals.
