
Two members of stolen vehicle gang held in Morelganj

Police in Morelganj arrested two members of a gang involved in stealing easybikes and battery-powered vans. Law enforcers recovered a stolen easybike, a van, and a battery charger from their possession.
The arrest was made during a special raid conducted by Morelganj police in the early hours of Friday based on a tip-off.
The arrestees have been identified as Alamin (45), son of Rustum Ali Hawladar from Kathaltala village, and Rafiqul Farazi (48), son of Kader Farazi from the Kuthibari Ashrayan Project area.
Speaking about the operation, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Morelganj Police Station, Md. Motlubur Rahman, said, “Based on confidential information, we learned that a stolen vehicle was being trafficked. Acting promptly, we conducted a raid and arrested two professional thieves. A stolen easybike, a battery-powered van, and a charger were recovered from them.”
A case has been filed with the Morelganj Police Station, and legal proceedings are underway against the accused.
