Patuakhali Deputy Commissioner Abu Hasnat Mohammad Arefin visited Upazila Health Complex in Mirzaganj, Patuakhali on Thursday.
During this time, he took an overall look at the dengue patients and other patients in the hospital.
He spoke to the doctors about the cleanliness and medical services in the hospital. He gave suggestions for improving the quality of medical services.
Mirzaganj UNO Md. Tariqul Islam, Upazila Health and Family Planning Officer Prashant Kumar Saha, Resident Medical Officer Shamsul Haque Sohel, and Dr. Jaber were present.
The DC thanked the Upazila administration for providing saline for dengue patients in the hospital. He also directed to continue regular cleanliness drives and mosquito control activities in densely populated areas.
The DC also visited the ongoing H.S.C. and Samamanah examination centers in Mirzaganj Upazila. He expressed satisfaction with the overall management and environment of the examination.
In the ongoing examination, 994 out of 1016 students participated in the examination at 5 examination centers in Mirzaganj Upazila.
He visited the Subidkhali Women's College examination center and expressed his opinion on maintaining a fair environment free from cheating at the examination center.
