One arrested while illegally entering thru' Jibannagar border

Members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) 58 Battalion have arrested a person named Rafiul Islam while illegally entering Bangladesh through Jibannagar border in Chuadanga.
He was arrested approximately 300 yards inside Bangladesh from the border pillar-61/4-S in the area under the responsibility of BGB's Benipur BOP at around 5:15 pm on Sunday.
The arrested Rafiul Islam is the son of Bazlur Rahman of Makrampur village of Shailkupa police station in Jhenaidah district. This information was given in a press release signed by the Assistant Director of 58 BGB.
The release further said that a patrol team led by Nayek Mohd. Jalaluddin of Benipur BOP under BGB's 58 Battalion conducts regular operations. The Bangladeshi national was arrested while illegally entering Bangladesh from India on the dirt road in front of Md. Mofer Ali's mango orchard in Benipur village.
