Takes charge as Commissioner in Ward No 7, 9 : RMP's ADC Sabina Yasmin praised for public relations, service activities

Sabina Yasmin, Additional Deputy Police Commissioner (ADC) joined Rajshahi Metropolitan Police (RMP) on January 1, 2024.
Since then, she has served in key roles such as Additional Deputy Police Commissioner for Crime and Operations, Force, Media, Estate and Development, and the Victim Support Center. Besides, she has taken on the responsibility of acting as the councilor for Wards 7 and 9 of Rajshahi City.
While fulfilling these duties, she has overseen administrative tasks in these wards, including birth and death registrations and the issuance of inheritance certificates.
She has also actively supervised field-level activities such as the distribution of TCB products, vaccination drives, and Vitamin A capsule campaigns, while participating spontaneously in various social initiatives.
Moreover , to prevent juvenile gangs and social crimes, she has conducted exchange meetings with school and college students through the "School Visiting Program" under the guidance of Police Commissioner Abu Sufian.
To restore public trust in the police, she regularly engages in public relations activities such as courtyard meetings, beat policing, and community policing. As part of these efforts, on May 18, 2025, she visited a cleanliness drive organized in Ward 7 at the T-Dam, where she inspected the activities on-site and provided guidance to sanitation workers and other ward officials and staff. During this visit, she interacted with local residents, listened attentively to their concerns and issues, and assured them of her support in resolving their problems. She also sought their cooperation in law enforcement and other matters.
The local community expressed pride and satisfaction to get an honest and dedicated senior police officer like Sabina Yasmin as their Ward Councilor and praised her for relentless efforts to change the society.
