3 Killed, one injured in road accident on Dhaka-Khulna Highway at Muksudpur

A tragic road accident occurred in front of Maa Filling Station at Dasherhat on the Dhaka-Khulna highway in Muksudpur upazila of Gopalganj district st 4 pm on Thursday.
A mini truck (Dhaka Metro - Th-14-8723) heading from Bhanga to Gopalganj lost control and collided with a roadside tree, leaving three people dead and one seriously injured.
According to reports, the accident took place near Maa Filling Station in Dasherhat area under Gobindpur Union of Muksudpur upazila. Two people died on the spot while two others, in critical condition, were rescued by Muksudpur Fire Service personnel and locals and taken to Muksudpur Upazila Health Complex. There, the on-duty doctor declared one more person dead and referred the remaining critically injured victim to Dhaka Medical College Hospital.
The deceased have been identified as Tanvir from Dohar, Dhaka; Nazmul from Uzirpur, Barisal; and the driver of the vehicle, Lavlu. The identity of one individual has not yet been confirmed.
