6-day long faculty training workshop ends at BAUET

A six-day long faculty training workshop titled "Quality Assurance in the OBE Framework" was successfully held at the campus of Bangladesh Army University of Engineering & Technology (BAUET), organized by the Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC).
The closing ceremony was heldnon Monday at the university’s Skylight Hall, where the Vice Chancellor, Brigadier General Md. Mizanuzzaman, was present as the chief guest.
In his address, he said, “Our syllabus has been updated in accordance with the latest BNQF policy guidelines. Through IQAC, we aim to ensure quality education. All necessary steps will be taken, including further training programs.”
He reaffirmed BAUET’s commitment to delivering quality education and extended his sincere thanks to everyone involved in organizing the workshop.
BAUET Treasurer Colonel Md. Shawkat Hossain (Retd.), Controller of Examinations Colonel Hla Han Maung, PBGM&S (Retd.), Registrar Lt. Colonel KFA Sohel (Retd.), Dean of the Faculty of Science & Humanities Professor Dr. Md. Sazzad Hossain, Dean of ECE and Director of IQAC Prof Mohammad Golam Sarwar Bhuiyan, along with department heads, the Proctor, Student Welfare Advisor, Deputy Registrar (Academic), and other faculty members were present.
The training covered a range of key topics such as Course Learning Outcomes (CLO), Program Learning Mapping, Outcome-Based Question Preparation, KPI Setting, CQI Process, Evaluation Rubrics, and BNQF Domains. A total of 115 faculty members from all departments participated in the workshop.
The event was moderated by IQAC Additional Director and Associate Professor of English, Md. Hamidur Rahman. IQAC Director Professor Mohammad Golam Sarwar Bhuiyan delivered the welcome speech. Participants Apel Mahmud, Lecturer, Department of ICE, and Hafizur Rahman, Assistant Professor, Department of Business Administration, shared their experiences on behalf of the trainees. Certificates were distributed among participants and crests were awarded to the trainers by the Vice Chancellor during the closing session.
