Hundreds of waterbodies of Amtali Municipality are like mosquito atu's house.

On Saturday afternoon, different areas of the city of Amtali municipality were visited, four sides of the Amtali Upazila Executive Office, Lake in front of MU Balik Secondary School, Sabujbag Lake, Chawra Lake, Khontakata Lake, Bakulnesa Women's College Lake, Amtali Lake. Siddiq Mia, a resident of Mithabazar area, said that although the drowning is filled with garbage, the municipality authorities are not taking the initiative to remove it. Big mosquitoes are being born in the drowning. Mosquito harassment is responsible for the house.
Gopal Midi, a resident of Sabujbagh area, said that the water of the Dobar is spreading the water, mosquitoes and flies are born and the environment is taking extreme shape.
Asim Mridha, a resident of the same area, said that a lot of mosquitoes are being born in the dirt. The mosquito is hitting the house at night. It is very difficult to stay in the mosquito harassment. Although they informed the municipal authorities, they are not taking it into action.
Yusuf Ali, a resident of Khontakata area, said that the mosquito pains are in the house of Mushkin. But the municipality authorities are not taking any action to expel mosquitoes. He demanded effective measures to expel mosquitoes.
Administrative Officer of Amtali Municipality Md. Mamunur Rashid said the mosquitoes would be killed by cleaning the abandoned sinks.
Amtali UNO and Municipal Administrator Md. Roknuzzaman Khan said the mosquito was already washed with foger machine. However, initiatives will be taken to clean the drainage in a short time.
