
BNP's joyous procession in Rangamati as election date announced

We have got a new country in exchange for the blood of the July warriors. The nation has got a new, stigma-free country in the movement of the students in July. We will not be dishonest with the blood of the July warriors.
BNP leaders said these things at a rally held at the city's New Market Square after the victory procession on the anniversary of the historic mass uprising of the students and the people under the chairmanship of District BNP President Dipan Talukder on Wednesday in Rangamati.
Speaking as the chief guest at the rally, BNP Central Committee's Joint Secretary for Religious Affairs Dipen Dewan said, we have to move forward by learning from history. Today's victory procession is in memory of all the injured and deceased July warriors. We will conduct all our activities through peaceful movement.
Earlier, a rally started from the party office in Kanthalatoli and after parading the main roads of the city, it reached the New Market square. Central BNP's Deputy Secretary for Religious Affairs Advocate Dipen Dewan was present as the chief guest.
Speaking on the occasion were former Deputy Minister Babu Moni Swapan Dewan, District BNP President Dipen Talukder, District BNP General Secretary Advocate Mamunur Rashid Mamun, District BNP Vice President Advocate Saiful Islam Panir, District BNP Vice President Saiful Islam Chowdhury Bhutto and District BNP Member Maitree Dewan.
Leaders and activists of various organizations of the District BNP were present.
