An anti-drug workshop and awareness program on “Festival of Youth-2025” was conducted by Coast Guard in Chattogram and Patuakhali on Tuesday.
Coast Guard Media Officer Lieutenant Commander Siam-ul-Haq provided this information in a press release.
Since its inception, Bangladesh Coast Guard has been working tirelessly in coastal and riverside areas in the service of the people. In addition, the Coast Guard has been conducting various disaster rescue operations, relief distribution, emergency medical services, and rehabilitation activities for the affected.
In continuation of these efforts, on Tuesday, 29 July 2025 at 10 AM, an anti-drug workshop and awareness program titled “Festival of Youth-2025” was organized by Coast Guard Base Chattogram and Agrayatra. Representatives from the Department of Narcotics Control in Chattogram and Patuakhali, along with students from local schools and colleges and young participants, took part in the event.
To protect the young generation from the deadly grip of drugs, Bangladesh Coast Guard will continue such initiatives in the future.
