State Minister for Primary and Mass Education and Dhaka-13 Member of Parliament Bobby Hajjaj emphasized the necessity of expanding educational, healthcare, and employment opportunities to integrate marginalized women and children into the mainstream economy.

He made the statements on Saturday as the chief guest at a daylong event titled "Education, Health, and Employment for Marginalized Women and Children," organized by the Momo Women and Children Welfare Center at Mohammadpur Mohila College. Pirojpur-3 Member of Parliament Md. Ruhul Amin Dulal formally inaugurated the event.

"To drive the development of underprivileged women and children, we must advance education, healthcare, and employment in an integrated manner. Alongside ensuring basic facilities, we must focus on skill development to pave their path toward self-reliance," Bobby Hajjaj said.

Chaired by the organization's President S.M. Momo and moderated by Advisors Md. Manjur Hossain Esa and Sakina Kaiyum, the discussion highlighted the imperative for coordinated public, private, and civil society efforts to foster female entrepreneurship and extend affordable healthcare to peripheral communities.

JASAS Central Committee Joint Convenor Liaquat Ali, Environmentalist Dr. Abdul Wahab, Swapnanibas Managing Director Solaiman Shawn, Professor Abdus Sattar, Mohammadpur Mohila College President Advocate Akhtaruzzaman, Human Rights Leader H.M. Moniruzzaman, R.K. Ripon, and Poet Abdul Mannan spoke as special guests. Event Celebration Committee Convenor Seema Pushpa, Member Secretary Monira Bulbul, Vice President Elora Yasmin, and female entrepreneurs Anowara and Linda were also present.

Earlier in the day, the chief guest inaugurated a free medical camp sponsored by Japan Bangladesh Friendship Hospital, inspect entrepreneur stalls, and participated in a tree-planting drive.

As part of the program, 10 individuals, including Deputy Commissioner of Police (Tejgaon Division) Ibn Mizan, were honored with commemorative awards for their contributions to law and order. Organizers also distributed sewing machines to two women entrepreneurs, held a cultural function, and hosted a commemorative cake-cutting ceremony.

S.M. Momo reiterated the organization's pledge to continue social welfare initiatives aimed at building an equitable society through sustainable community empowerment.
