A friendly football match organized by the Faridpur District Electrical Shop Owners Association was held in 2025 with great enthusiasm and excitement.
On Friday afternoon, the friendly football match took place at the Baitul Aman Campus field of Faridpur Government Rajendra College. The match was inaugurated by the chief guest, Professor SM Abdul Halim, Principal of Government Rajendra College. The special guest was Afzal Hossain Khan Palash, Senior Joint Convener of Faridpur District BNP and a prominent sports enthusiast.
During the event, the President of the Faridpur District Electrical Shop Owners Association, Sheikh Mamunur Rashid Ejaz, General Secretary Md. Golam Mostafa, Joint General Secretary Golam Mostafa Mohsin, Treasurer Md. Nazmul Hasan, Sports Secretary Parvez Khan, Organizing Secretary Mehedi Hasan, Assistant Organizing Secretary Rafiqul Islam Mintu, along with other members and officials of the association, were present.
The friendly football match was supported by Poly Cables and Cree Opto Electronics Company Limited.
In the competitive friendly football match, the Faridpur District Electrical Shop Owners Association XI and the Electric Company Football XI participated.
The Faridpur District Electrical Shop Owners Association XI defeated the Electric Company Football XI by 3-0, earning the honor of becoming champions.
Later, the guests presented the championship trophy to the winning team.
