Govt to set up 'Math Labs' in pry schools to build tech-focused future: Bobby Hajjat

State Minister for Primary and Mass Education Bobby Hajjaj on Thursday announced that the government has taken an initiative to gradually establish "Math Labs" in government primary schools across the country.
The move aims to cultivate math-based skills, logical reasoning, and problem-solving capacities right from the primary level to nurture a science- and technology-oriented generation.
The state minister made these disclosures while visiting Glenrich International School in the capital's Satarkul (Badda) area on Thursday, where he also participated in an exchange-of-views meeting with students, teachers, and guardians.
Highlighting global advancements, the state minister noted that the modern world is rapidly transitioning toward a technology-driven economy and a knowledge-based society.
He emphasized that to keep pace with these global changes, the foundation of mathematics, science, and innovative thinking must be strengthened in children from their early years. This imperative, he added, prompted the plan to introduce Math Labs as part of creating a modern and joyful learning environment in primary schools.
