Govt to set up ‘Shishu Swargo’ in 22 dists for children with cerebral palsy

The government will establish ‘Shishu Swargo’ (Children’s Paradise) in 22 districts during the current fiscal year to ensure integrated treatment, rehabilitation, and support services for children affected by cerebral palsy.
He made thid announcement while addressing a program marking World Cerebral Palsy Day at the National Institute of Neurosciences and Hospital (NINS) in Agargaon, Dhaka on Tursdsy morning.
The initiative aims to bring comprehensive healthcare and rehabilitation services closer to children with cerebral palsy and their families, reducing the difficulties they face in accessing specialized treatment and long-term care.
State Minister for Housing and Public Works Ahmed Sohel Manzur attended the event as a special guest.
