Two-day free medical camp launched in Bandarban by Army

A two-day free medical camp has been started in Bandarban under the initiative of 69 Infantry Brigade and Bandarban Army Region to ensure medical services to people in remote areas of the mountains.
The free medical camp was inaugurated on Monday morning at the local Rajar Maidan in Bandarban city. Since the morning, people of different ages including women, children, and men from different areas of the district have flocked to Rajar Maidan to receive medical services. Students were also seen receiving medical services.
Specialist doctors from various departments including medicine, cardiology, dermatology, allergy, and gynecology provided medical services and necessary advice to the patients at the camp. The patients who came for treatment expressed their satisfaction with receiving free advice and services from specialist doctors.

Locals said that many people in the remote hilly areas of Bandarban cannot visit a specialist doctor on time due to various limitations.
Lt. Col. Md. Sarfaraz Haider, commander of 7 Field Ambulance, said, "This initiative has been taken with the aim of providing medical services to the doorsteps of the remote and underprivileged people of the hills.
